Create Account

To use ExamCraft AI, you need a personal user account. Registration is free and takes less than two minutes.

No Self-Signup in Some Institutions

In some educational institutions, self-registration is disabled. In this case, you will receive an invitation email from your institution. Follow the link in this email to set up your account. Contact your IT administrator or institution administrator if you have not received an invitation.

Registration Methods

ExamCraft AI supports two login methods. You can choose either method at any time:

Signing in via Google OAuth is the fastest and most secure method. You don't need an additional password — your existing Google identity is used for authentication.

Tip: Prefer Google OAuth

Google OAuth is more secure than a standalone password because Google provides modern security mechanisms like two-factor authentication and anomaly detection. If you already use a Google account, we recommend this method.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Open ExamCraft AI in your browser and navigate to the sign-in page.
  2. Click the Sign in with Google button.
  3. A Google sign-in window opens (popup or new page). Select the desired Google account or enter your Google email address.
  4. Confirm access when Google prompts you. ExamCraft AI receives only your name and email address — no content from your Google account.
  5. You will be automatically redirected back to ExamCraft AI and are immediately signed in.
  6. On your first login, your profile is automatically created. You will then see the Dashboard with your Free subscription.

Email and Password

If you don't want to or can't use a Google account, register with your email address and a self-chosen password.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Open ExamCraft AI in your browser and navigate to the sign-in page.
  2. Click Register (or Create Account).
  3. Enter your Email Address. Use an email address you regularly have access to — it will be needed for account confirmation and password reset.
  4. Choose a Password. The password must meet the following requirements:
    • Minimum 8 characters
    • At least one uppercase letter
    • At least one number or special character
  5. Re-enter the password in the Confirm Password field.
  6. Click Register.
  7. You will receive a Confirmation Email at the provided address. Open this email and click the confirmation link to activate your account. The link is valid for 24 hours.
  8. After confirmation, you can sign in with your email address and password.

Didn't Receive Confirmation Email?

First check your spam or junk folder. If the email doesn't appear there, you can request a new confirmation on the sign-in page under Resend Confirmation Email.

First Sign-In

After successful registration and first login, you will be automatically redirected to the Dashboard. The Dashboard is the central starting point for all activities in ExamCraft AI.

Here's what to expect on your first login:

  • Your account is automatically equipped with the free Free subscription. With this, you can upload a limited number of documents and generate exam questions.
  • Your profile is already populated with your name and email address (with Google OAuth, this data is taken directly from Google).
  • You can get started right away: Upload a document or generate your first exam directly.

An overview of all Dashboard functions can be found at Understand Dashboard.

Forgot Password

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it from the sign-in page. This process is only possible for accounts with email/password login — Google OAuth accounts are managed through your Google account.

  1. Open the sign-in page of ExamCraft AI.
  2. Click the Forgot Password? link below the sign-in form.
  3. Enter the email address you used to register.
  4. Click Send Reset Link.
  5. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. The link is valid for 1 hour.
  6. Click the link in the email and enter your new password (minimum 8 characters, with uppercase letter and number/special character).
  7. Confirm the new password and click Save Password.
  8. You will be redirected to the sign-in page and can immediately sign in with the new password.

Account Disabled or Locked

If you receive a message when signing in that your account is disabled or locked, you cannot sign in yourself. In this case, contact your institution's administrator directly or ExamCraft AI support.

Possible reasons for account lockout:

  • Too many failed sign-in attempts (temporary lock, automatically removed after a waiting period)
  • Manual deactivation by an institution administrator
  • Expired or cancelled subscription at the institution level

Share your registered email address with the administrator so they can review and reactivate your account if needed.
